Today, Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo – Ufficio di Addis Abeba proudly received from the Government of Ethiopia an award for our contribution in transforming the agriculture sector in the country.
This has been a sector of traditional intervention for the Italian Cooperation in Ethiopia and, since 2011, we have worked hand-in-hand to boost the agricultural value chains in the Oromia region, particularly in durum wheat.
Together, we have reached new heights: production significantly has increased, private sector investment is booming, and the number of pasta processors has tripled.
