Visit by Head of Office, Isabella Lucaferri, and staff of the Basic Services sector to Somali region for the EQUITY project that aims to enhance the health system in the emerging regions of Ethiopia (Somali, Benishangul-Gumuz, Afar and Gambella) with specific focuses on gender and nutrition.
Activities include: capacity building of health staff, provision of high quality health services, and community involvement.
During the visit, AICS met with the Deputy Director of the Somali Regional State Health Bureau.
