Handover of 5 mobile clinics to the Djibouti Ministry of Health as part of the project “Strengthening Response and Prevention Systems for COVID-19 and other Communicable Diseases in Djibouti”, implemented by WHO.
The Italian Cooperation funded the project with 1 million euros to ensure access to health for the country’s most vulnerable people.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Italy, Agostino Palese, AICS Head of Office, Isabella Lucaferri, MP Alessandro Battilocchio, Djibouti’s Minister of Health, Ahmed Robleh Abdilleh, WHO Representative in Djibouti, Reinhilde Van De Weerd, and representatives from other partner institutions.
