The Ambassador of Italy to Ethiopia, the Mayor of Addis Ababa City Government, the Head of AICS Addis Ababa and the Head of Urban Beautification and Green Development Bureau attended today the Riverside development project in AddisAbeba launching event.
This initiative, worth 5 M euros, will contribute to the improvement of the livelihood and sanitation conditions of residents in the Kebena area by enhancing the protection, restoration, maintenance, and valorization of Addis Ababa riverbanks.
Beautification interventions, like the rehabilitation of a public square and the construction of a public garden, will also be included in the activities.
This project confirms the engagement of ItalianCooperation in the sanitation and environment sector, which has always been a priority area of intervention in Ethiopia.
