Partners
The Addis Ababa Office of the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) collaborates with a dense network of local and international partners, as well as civil society organizations. Among these, privileged partners are Ethiopian institutions and Ministries, namely the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, for the preparation of the three-year Country Framework; the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Water and Energy, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Women’s, Children and Youth Affairs, and the regional and local authorities for the implementation of the AICS-funded initiatives.
AICS Addis Ababa also works with several Italian Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) which implement initiatives financed by the Italian Cooperation in Ethiopia and South Sudan through the yearly call for CSOs launched by AICS’ Headquarters or through regular call for proposals published by this Office.
Important is also the contribution of International Organizations and United Nations Agencies on the initiatives related to the multilateral aid.
